We are looking for an Accountant to join our team!

Do you have accounting background, good computer skills and a knack for details? Are you well organized and adaptable to unexpected changes? If the answer is yes, keep reading!

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Payroll processing including all monthly, quarterly and annual payroll tax reports and W-2s.
  • Accounts payable processing.
  • Accounts receivable processing including cash receipts.
  • Bank reconciliations and journal entries.
  • General ledger account reconciliations.
  • Fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
  • Assistance with preparation of monthly financial statements, including forecasts and revenue variance reports.
  • Assistance with preparation of annual budget.
  • Assistance with preparation of work papers for annual audit.
  • Reporting and reconciling project/grant revenue and expenses as needed.
  • Miscellaneous accounting duties including data entry and spreadsheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Here’s what you will need to bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or may substitute adequate work experience.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles preferably for non-profit organizations preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, as well as outside vendors and collaborators.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with close attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills utilizing Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) or other integrated accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Note: Viable applicants will be required to demonstrate their computer skills as well as pass a background and education verification check.
